Place & Power: How Astrocartography Reveals Where You Come Alive

Have you ever wondered why certain places feel electric—like they charge your soul? Or why others leave you drained, restless, or strangely invisible? Astrocartography gives us the map.

While astrology shows the what and the why, astrocartography reveals the where. It takes your birth chart and stretches it across the Earth, creating a personalized grid of planetary lines that indicate how different places will activate different parts of your soul’s blueprint.

Some places unlock your creativity, purpose, or visibility. Others light you on fire with inspiration and drive. Some places make work feel effortless, while others help you forget about work entirely and reconnect with your joy. A certain city might make you fall in love with your life again, while another slows you down so you can hear what your soul’s been whispering. Others bring healing, closure, or necessary endings. Certain places help you build, teach, rest, or reconnect with love. It’s not always about moving—sometimes it’s about understanding why you are where you are, and how to work with that energy instead of against it.

I use these maps to help you understand why you feel the way you do where you are, where you have been, and how to align yourself with places that support what you are looking for. Making sense of the past is one of my favorite things—both to understand where you’ve been, and to clarify why you might be inclined to go where you’re being called to go next. It also reveals your relationship with the planets themselves. Their dignities, debilities, aspects—they all reflect your awareness and integration of their archetypes. If you’re already besties with Pluto or Mars, there may be no need to hang out with them again anytime soon. But if they’ve been running the show from the shadows, they might be asking for a deeper conversation.

Sometimes the call to go somewhere is rooted in something astrological. A line is pulling you toward it. Sometimes you’re already on that line—and everything makes sense the moment you see it. Other times, you’re living in a spot that is asking you to stretch in new ways—and just a few degrees away, everything could be less stretchy.

Astrocartography doesn’t tell you where to live. It helps you understand your relationship with place. It gives you agency, context, and cosmic permission to follow your intuition—and explains why that intuition may have been right all along.

This is one of the most magical tools I use with clients. And it works whether you’re planning a move, traveling intentionally, or simply want to understand why certain places change you. The Earth holds messages for you. The map just helps you read them.
