Sound Therapy
Sound has long been considered medicine—from the chants of Tibetan monks to the flutes of Native shamans, and from Pythagoras’ music of the spheres to NASA’s recordings of planetary harmonics that echo Earth’s own healing tones. This isn’t just poetic; it’s energetic science. Sound enters the body in waves, bypassing the critical mind and directly influencing the nervous system, tissues, water, and the electromagnetic fields around us.
Tools for Healing
In my sessions, I may use tuning forks, crystal singing bowls, Solfeggio frequencies, or tracks from the Monroe Institute and Centerpointe Research—pioneers in using sound to synchronize the brain and promote deep healing. Binaural beats, which use slightly different tones in each ear, can induce meditative states, improve sleep, heighten focus, or support emotional release depending on the chosen frequency (delta, theta, alpha, etc.).
Pathways to Transcendence
Personally, sound is one of my fastest pathways to transcendence. I use it as both a tool and a sacred language. Clients often report feeling calm, clear, “reset,” or as if they’ve journeyed somewhere they can’t quite describe. Whether you’re new to sound therapy or already use it in your practice, together we can explore what tones best support your healing, clarity, and activation.
Energy Work
Reiki & Pranic Healing
Energy healing clears blockages, rebalances the system, and restores harmony to the mind, body, and spirit. I draw from both Reiki, a Japanese hands-on healing art, and Pranic Healing, a powerful energy medicine system created by Master Choa Kok Sui.
Reiki
Reiki works by channeling universal life-force energy to bring calm, clarity, and alignment. It’s subtle, but the effects are real—deep peace, emotional release, pain reduction, and a reset of your nervous system. As a Master-level Reiki practitioner, I offer both in-person and distance sessions. Remote healing is just as effective as hands-on; energy transcends space and time.
Pranic Healing
Pranic Healing uses prana (life-force) to cleanse and energize the energy body. It’s highly precise and targets areas of energetic depletion, stagnation, or emotional congestion. Clients often experience a tangible shift—feeling lighter, clearer, and more grounded. This work can be done online or over the phone, and I tailor each session to your unique needs, tuning into the frequencies your system is asking for.
Understand Different Techniques
To explore more, visit pranichealing.com and dive into the teachings, meditations, and global energy work inspired by Master Choa. Whether you’re feeling blocked, overwhelmed, or simply ready to shift, this work offers a profound return to balance, clarity, and inner strength.
Breathwork
Breathwork is a powerful tool for emotional release, nervous system regulation, and spiritual alignment. It involves consciously changing the rhythm, depth, and flow of your breath to shift your internal state. Breath is the bridge between the unconscious and the conscious mind—it’s one of the fastest ways to reconnect with the body, calm the mind, and access deeper clarity.
Techniques for Transformation
In my coaching sessions, I may guide you through specific breath techniques to help you ground your energy, process difficult emotions, move through trauma patterns, or access insights that are otherwise out of reach when the body is in a state of stress or freeze. Breathwork can bring up what’s been buried, and it can also clear it. Whether we’re working on reclaiming power, expanding awareness, or simply softening into the present moment, the breath is always available as a tool for transformation.
Reconnection and Safety
From nervous system resets to altered states of consciousness, breathwork is not just about relaxation—it’s about reconnection. It reminds your body how to feel safe again and opens the gateway to the deeper self.
Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is the therapeutic use of plant compounds—including essential oils extracted from leaves, bark, roots, and petals—to support emotional, physical, and energetic well-being. These oils can be applied topically, taken internally, or experienced aromatically through inhalation. When inhaled, scent molecules travel through the olfactory nerves directly to the brain, particularly the limbic system—the part responsible for memory, instinct, and emotional regulation.
Applications in Sessions
In my coaching or healing sessions, I may use aromatherapy to help shift mood, reduce pain, support altered states of consciousness, or ground a specific intention. It can be used to calm anxiety, stimulate focus, aid sleep, or facilitate emotional release—often bypassing the rational mind and working directly with the nervous system and subtle energy field.
Exploring Essential Oils
I encourage clients to explore their own intuitive relationship with essential oils. Visit your local stores, test different scents, and notice which ones your body responds to. Personally, I prefer doTERRA oils, as they are among the few I trust for safe internal use and therapeutic-grade quality.
Frequency Tool
Aromatherapy is more than a pleasant scent—it’s a frequency tool. Each oil carries a signature vibration that can act as both anchor and activator on your healing path.
Primal Reflex Release
PRRT™ is a neurologically based pain relief method that works by surprising the body out of its long-held protective patterns. It targets primitive reflexes stored in the nervous system and resets them using quick, precise input—often while the client’s eyes are closed, attention is distracted, or specific muscles are activated during movement. By hijacking the brain’s reflex loops in this way, we can reset the body’s default response to pain and restore function almost instantly.
Core Principles
One of the core principles behind PRRT™ is reciprocal inhibition—the body’s natural reflex to relax one muscle when its opposing muscle is activated. When used strategically during reflex resets, this creates a powerful opportunity to override chronic guarding and activate prime movers that have been neurologically shut down—often since an old injury the body has long since adapted around.
Real-World Applications
I use PRRT™ daily to help people who’ve been living with pain for decades—including clients who’ve gone from needing a walker to moving freely in minutes, never needing assistance again. I’ve also taught this method over Zoom, guiding clients to release back and neck pain they’ve carried for years—sometimes in less than 10 minutes.
Approach and Impact
This isn’t a slow, passive approach; it’s intelligent, fast, and body-informed. PRRT™ reminds your nervous system what safety feels like, and once it remembers, the transformation is often permanent.
What to Expect
Initial Reset
In the first 5 minutes, we use a technique that quickly communicates with your nervous system to turn off stress responses and reset muscle function.
Customized Massage
After the reset, we move into a tailored massage that addresses your specific needs, enhancing the effectiveness of the treatment.
Holistic Approach
Sessions often conclude with work on the neck and shoulders, incorporating relaxation techniques or reflexology to further support your nervous system.
Welcome to Magic Bodywork - Your Oasis of rejuvenation, repair, AND recovery...
You’re not just a body with pain. You’re a whole system—nervous, emotional, physical—and the best results come when we treat it that way. That’s why every session starts before the massage even begins: with a conversation, then we address your nervous system and reset it. That helps your body feel safe enough to let go.
In the first 5 minutes, I use a technique that looks simple, but works fast. This process talks directly to your nervous system, turning off stress responses, stopping compensation patterns, guarding or bracing, resetting the way your muscles fire and rest.
I see it every day: someone comes in with pain they’ve had most of their life. They’ve tried massage, stretching, acupuncture, doctors, physical therapy—and nothing has truly worked. But if the pain isn’t due to a current structural damage, there’s a good chance we’ll turn it off in seconds.
And if you’re just holding stress or tension that usually takes a full hour to even touch? It will melt away too.
That’s the starting point. Once the body resets, we move into massage—and it works better, because the resistance is gone. You’re not just being worked on; you’re being restored. I customize every session based on what your body tells me, supporting the areas that need it most while integrating the changes we’ve made.
Sessions often end with work around the neck and shoulders that supports the nervous system even further—sometimes including relaxation techniques, or reflexology work to anchor the shifts.
You leave not only feeling better, but with a new sense of ease, clarity, and movement you may not have felt in years.
What I offer is different. And I know that sounds like a big claim—but I invite you to come experience it for yourself.
You don’t have to understand how it works. You just have to feel the difference.”
Deep Tissue
Deep Tissue Massage reaches the deepest layers of muscles. It is used to break down knots and relieve pressure points throughout the body. This massage is beneficial for athletes and those who receive massage more often. It is not recommended for everyone. As it is harder work for the therapist, there can be an upcharge depending on how long it is required for.
Swedish
The goal of Swedish Massage is to melt away muscle tension and increase the blood flow to your heart. Swedish Massage is extremely therapeutic as it decreases muscle toxins, increases oxygen levels in the blood, and improves flexibility in the body. Swedish is used in all relaxing massages and used at the beginning and end of most all massages with oils and creams.
Sports
Sports massage is focused and systematic, targeting muscles that are used in a specific sport. It is designed around pre and post events. It uses various techniques to decrease muscle pain and improve recovery, as well as improve overall range of motion and flexibility to support safe and effective movement.
Stretching
Stretching is a beneficial and effective way to increase blood flow throughout your body elongating shortened muscles & connective tissues along with improving lymphatic drainage. If you’re suffering from any aches and pains throughout your body from sitting or being in the same position for any lengthened amount of time, then stretching can likely help.
Prenatal
Pregnancy massage done after the 1st trimester. Research shows that massage can reduce stress hormones in your body and relax and loosen your muscles. It can also increase blood flow, which is so important when you're pregnant, and keep your lymphatic system working at peak efficiency. Massage reconnects your mind with your body.
Hot Stone
Hot Stone Massage is often paired with Swedish Massage. Stones are heated and used with oils to sooth, warm, and massage your muscles. This allows your body to relax and release tension and stress while calming the nerves. While we don't perform a hot stone ritual massage, we do use hot stones one the back neck and shoulders after massaging those areas deeper.
Myofascial Release
Myofascial release therapy is a type of gentle, constant stretch/pull that releases tightness and pain throughout your myofascial tissues. It is applied without oil, done very slowly and gently compared to the effectiveness. The therapist feels for elasticity in an area, then applies a push and pull hold for about 2-3 minutes until it starts stretching. One area can take up to 5 minutes.
Medical Massage
Medical Massage is outcome-based massage. It is primarily the application of a specific treatment targeted to the specific problem the patient presents with. The patient has a diagnosis and are administered a treatment and plan after a thorough assessment. We are registered and can provide you with a number to give your insurance that is reimbursable. But we do not take insurance ourselves.
Neuro Kinesiology Technique
Treat the cause of dysfunction, not the symptoms. NeuroKinetic Therapy® corrective movement system addresses the cause of pain – dysfunctional movement patterns stored in the brain. A dysfunction or compensation occurs at the onset of an injury that can be fixed after discovered through a series of muscle tests. Once discovered, and released, homework in the form of specific isolated light exercises are given to ease your body into freedom again.
Pin and Stretch
Pin and stretch is a deep massage and stretching technique that is highly effective at treating problems with muscle, tendon, ligament and fascia. It focuses the force of a stretch to a specific region of the muscle. The therapist uses their hand (or other body part such as an elbow or forearm) to hold down the belly of the muscle and then moves one of the muscle's attachments away from that pinned point. Sometimes this is done with your participation for even greater advancement.
Shiatsu
In the Japenese language “Ashi” translates to foot and “Atsu” into pressure. Ashiatsu DeepFeet Bar Therapy, is a barefoot massage technique in which the therapist delivers deep, broad, consistent pressure while utilizing their feet and body weight. Working with gravity instead of against it, Ashiatsu therapists are able to provide an effective therapeutic massage without causing pain or discomfort to themselves or the receiving client. Not available at this location yet.
Reflexology
Reflexology is an alternative medical practice involving the application of pressure to specific points on the feet, ears, and hands that correspond to areas of the body. By manipulating these points, balance can be brought to the corresponding areas. The entire body is reflected in the feet, hands, and/or ears and can be treated from them without ever touching the actual corresponding body parts. When we visit, ask for your neck to receive up to 30% more range of motion without ever being touched!
Reciprocal Inhibition
Reciprocal inhibition is a neuromuscular process where muscles on one side of a joint relax to allow the contraction of muscles on the opposite side, enabling smooth and coordinated movement.
The Core Concept:When the central nervous system signals an agonist (the muscle causing movement) to contract, it simultaneously sends inhibitory signals to the antagonist (the muscle opposing the movement), causing it to relax.
Cupping
Cupping is a form of massage therapy which decompresses soft tissues using vacuum suction, unlike other forms of massage that compresses soft tissues. During cupping, the cup gently sucks to your skin and lifts underlying soft tissue into the cup. It can leave bruising, that does not feel like normal bruising. It is also a detoxifying therapy.
Guasha
Gua sha is a traditional Chinese medicine technique that involves using a smooth-edged tool to gently scrape the skin. It is believed to promote circulation, reduce muscle tension.
Benefits:
- Improved circulation
- Enhanced lymphatic drainage
- Reduced puffiness
- Increased skin elasticity
- May help relieve pain and inflammation
Yoga
The movements of yoga are designed to challenge flexibility, balance, coordination and strength, increasing your body’s efficiency and overall health. Breathing techniques promote greater mind body connection, improving the function of body and mind.
Focusing on controlled movement and breathing prepares the body and mind for meditation, with an approach to a quiet mind that allows silence and relief from everyday stress. When practiced regularly, yoga can become a powerful and sophisticated discipline for achieving physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
- Bhakti Yoga (The Path of Devotion):This path emphasizes love, devotion, and worship as a means to connect with the divine.
- Karma Yoga (The Path of Action):This path focuses on selfless service and performing actions without attachment to the results, aligning with one's duty and dharma.
- Jnana Yoga (The Path of Knowledge):This path emphasizes self-inquiry, meditation, and the study of ancient texts to achieve enlightenment and liberation from ignorance.
- Raja Yoga (The Royal Path):This path, also known as the "royal path," focuses on mental and spiritual discipline, including practices like meditation and concentration, to achieve self-realization and union with the divine.
Cranio Sacral
Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a light touch manual therapy that works with the body’s self‐
correcting mechanism to affect multiple structural and physiological systems in attaining greater
health and well‐being. As the name implies, it involves mobilizing restrictions within the cranium
and the sacrum. However, because of the anatomical and physiological connections, it is really
a whole‐body approach. It is practiced by various healthcare professionals who have a license to
touch.
There is such a thing as a craniosacral rhythm, which is separate from the
breathing rhythm, separate from the heart rate. And that rhythm is the flow of the
cerebrospinal fluid throughout the craniosacral system,” says
Dagman. Encompassing various membranes and soft tissues, cerebrospinal fluid,
and the bony structures of the spine, cranial bones and sacrum, the craniosacral
system is the primary system in our body that encases and protects the central
nervous system—whose function is vital to our overall health.
- Reducing stress and anxiety
- Improving posture and alignment
- Relieving pain, especially in the head, neck, and back
- Enhancing cognitive function
- Supporting the body's natural healing processes
Meditation
Meditation is a practice that involves training the mind to focus and achieve a state of calmness and awareness. It involves quieting the mind and reducing distractions.
Types of Meditation:
- Mindfulness meditation: Focuses on the present moment, observing thoughts, feelings, and sensations without judgment.
- Guided meditation: Follows a script or instructions provided by a teacher or audio recording.
- Concentration meditation: Focuses on a specific object or mantra to maintain attention.
- Transcendental Meditation: Uses a specific mantra to quiet the mind and induce a state of deep relaxation.
Benefits:
- Reduces stress and anxiety
- Improves sleep quality
- Enhances emotional regulation
- Boosts cognitive function
- Increases self-awareness
- Promotes physical health
The outer world is merely a reflection of your inner world. Change the inner world and the outer world follows...
Do you ever feel like you’re carrying a weight that isn’t really yours? Like the roles you play, the expectations you uphold, and the identity you cling to are keeping you from something greater? Maybe you’ve spent years chasing success, approval, or meaning, yet deep down, something still feels incomplete—like a whisper telling you there’s more.
Thai Massage
Thai massage uses gentle pressure and stretching techniques to relax the whole body. Thai massage incorporates yoga-like stretches, improving circulation, enhancing flexibility over time, allowing a greater range of motion.
This can be incorporated into a table massage. We call this Swedish-Thai where we just include some of the stretches while we also do Swedish at the same time to lure the muscles to relax into the stretch.
Lomi Lomi
Lomi lomi is a traditional Hawaiian massage that uses a combination of massage techniques, and sometimes breathing and dance to restore energy and soothe the body. It is also known as the 'loving hands' massage although you will experience it utilizing a lot more forearm use, with long flowing strokes.
Ashiastsu
In the Japenese language “Ashi” translates to foot and “Atsu” into pressure. Ashiatsu DeepFeet Bar Therapy, is a barefoot massage technique in which the therapist delivers deep, broad, consistent pressure while utilizing their feet and body weight. Working with gravity instead of against it, Ashiatsu therapists are able to provide an effective therapeutic massage without causing pain or discomfort to themselves or the receiving client. Not available at this location yet.
Reciprocal Inhibition
The Reciprocal Inhibition Technique (RIT) is a type of Muscle Energy Technique (MET) that involves the relaxation of one muscle to accommodate the contraction of the opposing one to further the range of motion and stretch of the opposing one. This is an interesting phenomenon we can utilize in our bodies design.
Primal Reflex Release Technique™
The Primal Reflex Release Technique™ (PRRT™) is a treatment paradigm theorized to decrease pain and muscle spasm by targeting, resetting reflexes, and using reciprocal inhibition to “down regulate” the autonomic nervous system (ANS).
Yoga
We utilize yoga by assisting you in yoga poses on the massage table. It is a one on one modality which improves the mobility of your nerves & the flexibility of your muscles and fascia by focusing on the fascial lines that connect through and wrap around muscle, nerves, organs, and just about everything else in your body. Yoga stretches are also given as homework for your tighter spots to bring relief between sessions.
Lymphatic Drainage / Bio Compression
For someone with edema, lymphedema, lipedema, or a similar condition, a lymphatic drainage machine offers a life-changing treatment option. These machines, also known as lymphatic pumps or pneumatic compression devices, help relieve pain, stimulate fluid movement, and prevent diseases from worsening.
What may take a body weeks to filter out, it could take this system only 1 or 2 sessions to do.
It is great for swelling from injuries in the joints, a great addition to your detox program, great for anyone who has had lack of mobility or exercise and water retention.

Reiki
Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese word that means “universal life-force energy.” It is a way to treat your mind, body and spirit holistically. “Reiki heals by balancing the body's energy centers and removing blockages. This can also be done distantly and with animals. There are levels of Reiki practitioners. I am a master level.
Pranic Healing
Pranic Healing is a highly developed and tested system of energy treatment that uses prana to balance, harmonize and transform the body's energy processes. Prana is the Sanskrit word that means life-force. This invisible bio-energy or vital energy keeps the body alive and maintains good health. Often Pranic healing is being done in massage where there are restrictions. Pranic healing teaches amazing breath work to it's students and it's teachers thrive into their last century.
Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is the use of compounds from plants leaves, bark, roots and petals for therapeutic benefits. Aromatherapy can be used topically, aromatically, and certain oils may be able to be ingested. Sound Therapy
Sound has been utilized in various cultures for thousands of years as a tool for healing by moving us from a place of imbalance to a place of balance. It works with the nervous system, the tissues and the more subtle energies of the body. It is deeply relaxing and restoring. I may use singing bowls, tuning forks and/or special music. Centerpointe Research Institute has studied this since 1985. I can provide "dive" to listen to in your sessions.
Tuning Forks
- Scientific Evidence:There's some evidence that sound therapy, including tuning forks, can influence physiological processes related to relaxation and stress reduction. For example, they can slow down brain waves and induce a relaxed state. Some studies suggest potential benefits for mood, pain, and relaxation, but more rigorous research is ongoing.
- How They Work:Tuning forks produce specific sound frequencies when struck, and these vibrations can be felt and heard. Some believe these vibrations can interact with the body's energy field and promote healing.
- Medical Use:Medical professionals, particularly neurologists, use tuning forks to assess vibration sensation and detect nerve damage. For example, a 128 Hz tuning fork is commonly used to evaluate peripheral nerve function.
- Potential Benefits:Some practitioners use tuning forks to address specific issues like pain, stress, and emotional well-being. Tuning forks are also used in some energy healing practices to promote balance and harmony within the body's energy field.
Sound Therapy
- The Dolphin Neurostim is a revolutionary therapy device specifically designed to produce the most effectivepain and stress management on the market today! Unlike traditional electro-therapy devices which apply strong alternating current (AC), Dolphin applies cellularly responsive concentrated DC microcurrent stimulation to key acupuncture and trigger points in an approach that is proven in published science to outperform all other pain and stress therapy approaches.
- MPS Therapy is the application of the Dolphin Neurostim to therapeutically integrative protocols. MPS applies brief, concentrated DC microcurrent impulses to specific treatment points to relax muscles, calm the nervous system and release endorphins, the body’s natural painkillers. When MPS is applied to pathology influencing all three systems — nervous, muscular and endocrine — making MPS therapy effective for treating many chronic and acute soft-tissue pain conditions.
- Scar Release therapy (SRT) is a technique that involves applying MPS Therapy to each side of visible scars with microcurrent therapy to “repolarize” the local tissue and release fascia and muscles influenced by the scar. This technique should not be underestimated in its potency. Releasing scars that influence the pain site can sometimes be the single most important factor in the treatment of chronic pain.
